Friends invite Muslim children to Christmas party
North Olmsted Friends Church (OH) works with an inner-city church in Cleveland to provide “Isaiah Project,” a Saturday morning children’s church for inner city children. This year’s Christmas party encouraged Friends who have befriended Muslims to invite the Muslim children.
The children were thrilled to learn that they would receive stockings with their names on them, and their parents were delighted that the church was careful to serve all-beef hot dogs in respect of dietary traditions.

Romans 12:8 offerings build churches
For over four years, the 93 churches of Evangelical Friends Church-Eastern Region (EFC-ER) have graciously given to one another. When a church in Eastern Region dedicates a new building, other EFC-ER churches send love offerings of $12.80 to $128, based on the Romans 12:8 principle of generously “contributing to the needs of others.” During 2004, churches sent Romans 12:8 offerings to three churches completing building projects.
